people lose their patience.
people lose people.
people lose the sense of touch,
people lose the sense of hearing through the walls,
they lose the sense of seeing underneath the flesh and bones.
people lose their conscience.
people lose their music.
people lose themselves between today and tomorrow,
they forget to smile,
they forget to love,
they forget to live.
and people lose chances.
people lose nights and days of moon and sun,
they stop breathing, stop dreaming,
stop feeling,
people lose control.
I get lost from time to time, in my mind.
I lose moments remembering how to smile, how to feel, how to love.
I get lost in the distant places of strange, unknown faces
that lose days and nights, feelings and senses,
for nothing,
forever.
